First time I have ever gone. A truly mind blowing experience. Reminded me of my childhood. Glad this here. Hope they continue to do it. Had fun with my partner. So many different themes. Glad they’re so creative about this. Will return and recommending to my friends and family. Took about 20minutes to go through. You can tune into 102.1 for Christmas music. The tickets are $10 a week and $20 during the weekend. The sponsors Delta Sonic gave out a coupon for $10 for a car wash which was cool.
Was encouraged to go to Lights on the Lake in Syracuse because it was a must-see holiday experience - and after seeing it, I ABSOLUTELY agree! I forgot I was in a park, lakeside for a bit.
Several thematic Christmas light displays, drive-thru, perfect for all ages, and accompanying music via FM radio
Favorite parts? I loved the archways that were interactive with the drive-thru experience, and the larger castle/house displays.
Tickets are $20 per car, price may vary depending on the vehicle type. Must be purchased in advanced and shown at the ticket booth.
Merch can be picked up at the booth, except those made to order. No food or drinks on-site.
Approximately 20-30minutes to go through the entire experience at an average pace
It was very pretty and worse to visit there. About 20 minutes till ends ( probably depending on how busy will be ). We paid $20 since on Weekends but if you can visit on Weekdays it’s only $10 per a car.
Santa Clause and his reindeer are great you at entrance.
The lights themselves was so amazing! Great displays that I’ve never seen before while also bringing back some classic ones. However, the waiting experiencing was my issue. I expected it to be crowded so I wasn’t upset with that. It was the fact that once you entered the park, there was no way out. We waited 2.5 hours with no exit available. No bathrooms, no exit, nothing. We wanted to forfeit our spot in line as it is just my husband and I, but we had no where to go. It made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. What if there was an emergency? I know they provide the emergency number on the website, but the option to leave should still be granted to people without needing to call someone. Next year I hope they plan to allow people to exit if they choose, even just for safety purposes. The exhibit has the potential to be perfect if it implements more safety precautions for its patrons.
This is terrible. It is bumper to bumper traffic for two miles and the line to get in is even worse. It’s very inefficient and the lights are not good enough to make up for that fact. They should limit the number of tickets sold due to the crowds. Furthermore, there are two lines of cars to get in and one line moves about 5 times faster for some reason, so it will be at least two hours of your time wasted - but maybe three hours if you are in the slow lane. Mediocre lights and even worse organization.
Waited until the last weekend so we could experience it with snow. It never grows old for us. It's just a fun time with loved ones.
Absolutely love this time of year when Lights on the Lake happens. Our toddler twins really got to enjoy the sights fully and their excited screams and laughter made it that much more memorable. Prices were perfect for families and spending the extra $10 per child to get them the light up wand was well worth it. I can’t wait for next year!
The lights were absolutely incredible and get better every year. However the crowd/line management was some of the worst I’ve ever seen. When you have 300 cars in line and nobody controlling them it turns into a disaster. When you add the fact that there is no exit once you are in the line until the end… Make sure you have a bathroom break before entering the never ending line or you will regret it.
